User ID - Enter your assigned User ID.
Password - Enter your password; passwords must be a minimum of five characters.
Below are answers to common questions about logging into the online system.
Why am I not seeing benefit information for my spouse and children over age 18?
Spouses and children over 18 will need to register on aetnavision.com to access their own account.
When can I register?
You can register on or after your effective date.
How do I register?
From the login screen, click on the Register button located in the middle of the screen and follow the instructions to register your account.
Once you are registered, you will receive an e-mail with a link for you to set up a password. The e-mail is valid for seven days only, after which time you'll need to contact our Customer Care Center at 1-877-9-SEE-AETNA (1-877-973-3238) to reset the password on your behalf.
What if I forget my User ID?
If you do not remember your User ID, select the Forgot User ID link. You will need to know the e-mail address you registered with in order to have your User ID e-mailed to you. If you do not remember the e-mail address, please contact the Customer Care Center at 1-877-9-SEE-AETNA (1-877-973-3238) for assistance.
What if I forget my password?
To reset your password, select the Forgot Password link on the log in page. You will need to know your User ID to reset the password. You will receive an e-mail (to the e-mail address currently on file in the system) containing a link to the password reset page, where you can select a new password. For further assistance, contact the Customer Care Center at 1-877-9-SEE-AETNA (1-877-973-3238).
Why does the system log me out automatically?
For security reasons, the system will log you out automatically after five minutes of inactivity.
What is the Aetna VisionSM Discount Program?
The Aetna Vision Discount Program allows you to save a fixed percentage off eye exams and eyeglasses or contact lenses. Discount savings are typically available on an unlimited basis.
This differs from Aetna Vision Preferred plans which provide fixed copayments and allowances for exams, frames, lenses or contact lenses.
